Dr. Taha Abdulla is a dynamic global leader with over 15 years of experience driving innovation and growth in the materials and chemicals industry. As Global Director and GM at AdvanSix, he leads key growth verticals within the Nylon Solutions business. His work spans consumer products, food, health and nutrition, and building and construction, all aimed at advancing humanity through impactful solutions.

Hailing from a humble town in Yemen and having moved to the U.S. at a young age, Taha’s passion for math and science led him to pursue Chemical Engineering. His career began at DuPont, Sasol, and WR Grace, where he undertook increasing global leadership roles across both Technical and Commercial functions. Alongside his professional achievements, Taha earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, an MBA in Management and Marketing, and advanced his education with executive programs from Korn Ferry and the Center for Creative Leadership.

Having lived across four continents, Taha has gained a profound appreciation for diverse cultural perspectives. His leadership ethos revolves around cultivating high-performance teams committed to excellence and aligning their efforts with organizational strategy. A Six Sigma Black Belt, he excels in crafting and executing growth strategies and implementing management operating systems through effective change management.

Taha’s results-oriented approach and comprehensive skill set underscore his proficiency in data-driven leadership and continuous process improvement.
